So, I'm really sick, but I went to my workplace today around 12:00 to pick up my paycheck, because it's a big audit issue if we don't sign for it on Friday. Whatever, I was going out to get some medicine anyway. While I was there I ran into one of my managers, let's call her X, and she asked me when I was coming back - I've been out for a while because of the ickyness - and I told her that I was supposed to be there today at 2:45, but I couldn't make it, because I wasn't feeling up to it. She said okay and I left. So, fast forward to about 2:55, I get a call from another managerial type person, let's call her J, asking if I told X that I wouldn't be making it today, I told her yes, and J said "okay, no big deal, hope you feel better." Fast forward once again, this time to about 4:30, X calls me, and says that we never confirmed that I wasn't coming in, and that if we had, she would've found someone to cover my shift. Bitch please, we had a damn conversation, I said I wasn't comin' in, and you said okay. You need to get that selective hearing/memory thing checked, 'cause I hear it can get out of hand, if left untreated.
